We are primarily engaged in manufacturing of cleaner and greener Electric Two-wheelers and Electric Rickshaws. We have the capacity to manufacture 60,000 Electric Three wheelers and 2 Lakh Electric Two wheelers.

We are the first company to receive ‘Vehicle Approval Certificate’ from the International Centre for Automotive Technology, Manesar and we are the registered owners of the famous E-Rickshaw brand ‘Mayuri’and famous Two wheeler brand Yogo Bikes.

Founded by the father of the e-rickshaw, Vijay Kapoor, SEAPL was the first company to introduce the e-rickshaw in India and the first to receive ICAT (Vehicle Approval Certificate) from the International Centre for Automotive Technology, Manesar.

Which kind of battery is used in your E-rickshaw?

Back in 2011, when the first e-rickshaw was launched, it employed a battery of 35 AH lead acid batteries providing a range of 30-40 km and a charging time of 8 hours. As the leading electric 3 wheeler manufacturers, we realised the requirement for a change to make our products better. Today, our e-rickshaws come with a 130 Amp Lead Acid Battery that provides a range of 100 km and a charging time of 10 to 12 hours . It also comes with Lithium Battery of 100 Ah option which has a charging time of 5 hrs to 6 hrs hrs with range of 90 to 100 km.

How much weight can an E-Rickshaw carry?

As per Government rules, e-rickshaws produced by battery operated vehicle manufacturers in India can carry a maximum of 400-500 kgs. We advise you to stay within the recommended load limit for the e-rickshaw as it can hamper the performance of the vehicles.
