Accelerating its manufacturing capabilities Saera Electric Auto, India’s leading electric vehicle maker has entered into an agreement to contract manufacture to a major EMaaS (Electric Mobility as a Service) and CaaS (Charging/Energy as a Service) company, ETO Motors.
ETO which has a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad is collaborating with SAERA in expanding its Micro Assembly Strategy for better regional deployment efficiencies. SAERA with a world-class manufacturing facility is joining hands with ETO as a manufacturing partner and also collaborating with ETO on battery solutions for vehicle brands beyond ETO. This collaboration will see vehicles of ETO Motors will be manufactured in the Saera Electric Plant in Bawal (Haryana).

Deeper Collaboration
Recently, both companies have announced key initiatives, Saera unveiled its exclusive product Electric Golf Cart in the Indian market, and ETO Motors entered into an agreement with GMR Varalakshmi Foundation and MOWO, an NGO promoting safe mobility for women. The company has already set up over 30 MW of EV charging infrastructure across the country. ETO Motors has set a production capacity of hundreds of units every year from Saera Electric Auto’s manufacturing plant in Bawal, increasing the numbers by the year.
